About the conference: call for contributions and dates for submissions
The International Conference on "Business and economics issues for building a more sustainable and socially responsible economy" is held by Foreign Trade University (Vietnam) and Nantes Université (France) to discuss contemporary issues from both business and economics perspectives that need to be addressed to build a sustainable and socially responsible economy. The conference will provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, policy makers, and graduate students to exchange the latest research findings, to share international experiences, and to propose policy recommendations to build a sustainable and socially responsible economy in both developing and developed countries.
We welcome submissions on topics including but not limited to the followings:
- The role of a more sustainable and socially responsible economy in developed and developing countries;
- Theoretical and practical issues for building a sustainable and socially responsible economy;
- Economic perspectives of building a sustainable and socially responsible economy including growth, trade, investment, finance, structural changes, social inclusion, and environmental issues;
- Business perspectives of building a sustainable and socially responsible economy including firm innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and CSR;
- Determinants of a sustainable and socially responsible economy;
- Challenges and opportunities for building a sustainable development and socially responsible economy in the VUCA world;
- International experiences for building a sustainable and socially responsible economies;
- Recommendations for developing countries to build a sustainable and socially responsible economy

Submissions guidelines
In order to submit an extended abstract or a full paper, or register to attend our Conference or Pre-conference session, you need to create an account and register yourself on the website. Once that is done, you will be offered the possibility to submit or register.
Submissions have to be made in a Word format. They can be extended abstracts or full papers. An extended abstract is expected to be from 3 to 5 pages long, references and figures included. A full paper with the same format requirements will be 10-25 pages long.
This conference is organised as a partnership between Nantes Université and Foreign Trade University.
Members of other partner universities of both institutions will be invited to take part in the conference.
It will take place exclusively online.
Connexion details will be sent to the people who have registered for the conference. Registration is free.
The conference will take place at the following dates and times:
March 30: from 6 pm to 9 pm, Vietnam Time (from 1 pm to 4 pm French Time)
March 31: from 3 to 5 pm, Vietnam Time (from 10 am to 12 French Time)
We offer a Preconference session with the topic of "In-depth inteview: A data collection method in qualitative research" for Master, PhD students and other interested people:
March 30: from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Vietnam Time (from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm French Time)
